Eastwood Little League Tee-Ball Information

Tee-ball at Eastwood Little League is a program for 4-6 year old boys and girls.

The season runs from 4/27/2024 to 6/20/2024 (excluding make up games for weather). All games begin at 6pm.

The only equipment truly needed is a baseball glove. If parents would like to purchase things like cleats, pants, batting gloves etc, please feel free, but none of that is mandatory.
It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you purchase a helmet for your child. Helmets will be available for your player to use, but we have found that it is easier to ensure hygenic issues if your child has their own helmet. The helmet does NOT need to have a face mask, but can if you choose. For our girls who may plan to play softball, purchase the helmet with a facemask.

If you do choose to buy your child a bat, it needs to be stamped the a USA Baseball stamp and should have the word Tee Ball somewhere on the barrel of the bat. See photo below. If you are unsure what size bat to buy, click here for a bat sizing guide.

Teams have 2 nights of activity each week. The first night of each week is designated to be a practice and skill building session. Coaches are provided with specific drills, games and activities to keep the kids busy, engaged and learning fundamental baseball/softball skills. This program is officially endorsed and produced by Little League International.

The second night of each week will be a night dedicated to a game versus another Eastwood LL Tee-ball team. Each session should last for about 1 hour. This time frame is the most appropriate for this age group. Longer sessions will result in boredom and lack of enthusiasm for the kids.
